PreACT
PreACT® assessments offer 8th, 9th, and 10th graders an early experience with ACT test items, provides a predicted ACT test score, and offers a wealth of information to help students get the start they need to be college ready.
Anchored on the ACT college and career readiness standards, PreACT assessments help educators, students, and parents, identify areas of academic strength and opportunity. Students may opt to have their information shared with colleges and scholarship agencies when they take PreACT 8/9, PreACT, or PreACT Secure, providing greater opportunities for recruitment and scholarship awards.

LSUA Accuplacer New Generation Exam
This exam is given at LSUA in the Testing Center or remotely for an additional cost.
The exam can be scheduled at www.registerblast.com/lsua/exam.
Cost: $24 per test
The test can be taken again, after waiting one week.

Most four year colleges require students to submit test scores from the SAT and/or ACT as part of the application process. Testing scores are NOT a part of the student transcript. Test scores must be sent electronically through students' personal Collegeboard and/or ACT accounts.

All students receive 4 free score sends when registering for the SAT or ACT exam. We encourage all students to enter 4 schools at the time of registration to receive their testing scores to expedite their application process.
